Cave of the Winds and Maid of the Mist Combo Ticket

There is no official 2026 combo ticket for Cave of the Winds and Maid of the Mist. What you can buy instead: two tickets yourself, or a guided combo tour with both.

Short answer: there is no official combo ticket in 2026. Maid of the Mist is sold by the boat company, and Cave of the Winds is sold by Niagara Falls State Park. Neither one’s 2026 price page lists a ticket that covers both (both checked October 2026). You have two ways to do both in one visit:

  1. Buy two tickets yourself. Until October 18 an adult pays $30.25 for Maid of the Mist and $23 for Cave of the Winds: $53.25 together.
  2. Book a guided combo tour that includes both admissions, plus a guide. On GetYourGuide these start at $99 per person (price checked October 2026).

The two-ticket route is cheaper. The tour costs more because it adds a guide, a fixed time slot you can book now, and someone else handling both ticket lines.

Two details matter if you plan to buy separately. Cave of the Winds uses timed tickets and does not sell them online, so on a busy day the park advises getting yours as one of the first things you do. And a Maid of the Mist ticket bought online does not reserve a boat: everyone boards first come, first served.

Which side of the falls

Both are on the US side, in Niagara Falls State Park, New York. Maid of the Mist boards at the base of the Observation Tower; Cave of the Winds is on Goat Island, a short walk away across the river channel. You do not need a passport for either.

On the Canadian side the boat is a different company, Niagara City Cruises, and there is no Cave of the Winds. If you are still deciding between the two sides, see US side vs Canada side. If you are comparing the two boats, see Maid of the Mist vs Hornblower.

What a combo tour includes

These are the guided tours on GetYourGuide that include admission to both attractions. All are on the US side, all are about 2.5 to 3 hours, and all allow free cancellation. Prices are per person, checked October 2026.

What none of them include: food and drinks, and tips. Parking is not included on the walking tours that meet at the Hard Rock Cafe; their own notes say the lots near it fill up and are pricey, and that free parking is about six blocks away at the Seneca casino or the Gorge Discovery Center.

How to choose

  • You have a car, you are not in a hurry, and you want the lowest price: buy the two tickets yourself. Get the Cave of the Winds timed ticket first, then the boat.
  • You want both done in one booked slot, with someone explaining the falls: the Maid of the Mist & Cave of the Winds Tour is the one this site features. It also includes the Observation Deck and runs as a small group.
  • You want the lowest price for a guided combo: the Boat, Cave and Shuttle Pass Tour is the cheapest tour in the table and adds a shuttle pass for the park.
  • You are staying in downtown Niagara Falls, NY and do not want to drive or park: the Cave of the Winds & Maid of the Mist Ride picks you up at your hotel.

Visiting late in the season

The combo only makes full sense until mid-October. Cave of the Winds switches to winter pricing after October 18, and the Hurricane Deck, the boardwalk at the foot of Bridal Veil Falls, is a summer structure. Maid of the Mist keeps sailing until November 8 in 2026. Several of the tour listings describe the boat as running from May to October, so check the date you want in the booking calendar before you plan around it. For the month-by-month picture, see the best time to visit.

How to book

  • Two tickets yourself: buy Maid of the Mist online at maidofthemist.com or at its ticket office on the day; buy Cave of the Winds at the attraction on Goat Island or at the park’s Welcome Center.
  • A combo tour: pick a date in the availability calendar on our homepage, or open any tour in the table above. Every one of them can be cancelled free of charge; the exact cut-off is shown on each listing.
